Opening Date Announced for Kura Revolving Sushi Bar at The Promenade

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar announced that it will officially open on Fri., March 28 at The Promenade Scottsdale.

The locale features a food belt that snakes through the dining area with plates of sushi.

The first 50 seated dine-in guests on March 28, 29, and 30 who show their Kura Sushi Rewards Member QR code will receive one (1) sushi towel. The first 300 seated dine-in guests on March 28 will receive a commemorative Scottsdale, Arizona location sticker.

Representatives from the restaurant note that a Facebook Event RSVP does not serve as a reservation. Guests must be added to the waitlist. Upon opening, guests will be able to sign up to join the waitlist at the door. A remote waitlist feature on the Kura Sushi Rewards app will be enabled after grand opening week.

Premium sushi is $3.50 per plate; other plate prices will vary.

A soft opening will begin on Sat., March 22, with limited hours (5-9 p.m.), as well as Sun., March 23 and Mon., March 24 from noon–9 p.m. Regular hours will begin March 25.

• A Revolving Sushi Bar

The Revolving Sushi Bar is the primary belt that snakes through the dining area with plates of sushi that are protected by our patented Mr. Freshᵀᴹ ventilated sushi lid, which limits airborne exposure and has plate-tracking technology that monitors how long the item has been circulating.

• An Express Belt

The Express Belt is positioned above the primary belt. Guests can place orders using the touch panel tablet at their table and their food arrives directly to them from the kitchen.

• Bikkura Pon Prizes

The Bikkura Pon Prize System is an integral part of Kura Sushi USA’s tech interactive dining experience and is comprised of a prize machine, touch panel, and plate disposal slot located at every table in the restaurant that are connected via sensors. The touch panel registers the number of sushi plates dispensed into the plate disposal slot. After every five plates inserted, a short animation will play on the touch panel and after every 15 plates inserted, a prize is dispensed from the prize machine.
