Big Changes for The Vig, Genuine Concepts

Genuine Concepts—the hospitality group behind The VIG, The Little Woody, The Womack, The McMillan, and Campo Italian Bistro & Bar—is undergoing a season of major transitions. Along with plans to debut a new location of The VIG in Paradise Valley, the company has announced the closure of The Genuine and a relocation of its corporate offices.

The next chapter for The VIG is set within the massive 100-acre redevelopment of the former Paradise Valley Mall. The VIG Paradise Valley will feature a custom-designed building nestled into a lush, park-like setting. Guests can expect a large outdoor patio filled with cozy nooks and a semi-private desert garden.

The menu will showcase the brand’s refreshed take on upscale tavern fare. Highlights will include starters like the Crispy Calamari & Shrimp and Truffle Parmesan Fries served with truffle goat cheese dip, Other menu items will include a Grilled Chicken Chopped salad, Hot Honey Chicken and Turkey Club sandwiches, and entrées such as Chicken Rigatoni Pesto and Poblano Chicken Enchiladas.

This eighth, fully custom location of the restaurant, which also has locations in McDowell Mountain Ranch and McCormick Ranch, will open in 2026.

Moving Headquarters

Genuine Concepts also announced they will be closing popular restaurant The Genuine as of Sept. 5 and relocating their corporate offices, which shared the same building as The Genuine. Both changes are due to the sale of the building.

“After an opportunity from a Phoenix-based hospitality company with big plans for the building arose, as well as the need for more office space and a desire to focus on the company’s core brand, the team has decided to close the doors of The Genuine,” company representatives shared in a press release. “All employees will stay with the company.”

A new location for the corporate offices has not yet been announced.
