Thinking of trying dry January or just looking forward to enjoying a tasty mocktail in general? These Scottsdale sips are guaranteed to elevate your drinking experience. Here, some of our local favorite picks.

 

WHAT: MARCO POLO

The Marco Polo features Iwai Japanese whisky, Montenegro, honey, ginger, and fresh lemon. Another popular option is the Limonata Rossa, a mocktail made with black cherry, fresh lemon, and soda.

WHERE: NORTH ITALIA

This neighborhood Italian restaurant utilizes the season’s best ingredients to create a variety of modern Italian dishes, including pasta made from scratch daily.

WHAT: TROPICAL PUNCH, A LOTTA COLADA, and IT’S BLUEBERRY THYME

The Tropical Punch is made with pineapple juice, orange juice, vanilla simple syrup, and Melograno Arancia San Pellegrino, while the A Lotta Colada has pineapple, coconut cream, water, and vanilla simple syrup. The It’s Blueberry Thyme is made with lemon, blueberries, ginger beer, fresh thyme, and simple syrup.

WHAT: FAKE IT ‘TILL YOU MAKE IT 

The options available with this tasty trio include the Golden Ticket (pineapple, orange juice, and cream of coconut), Frosted Strawberry (white cranberry juice, coconut milk, and mini cereal marshmallows), and Short Stack (fresh blackberry purée, lime, and sparkling water). They are freshly canned onsite and available to-go. Love the restaurant’s famous Bloody Mary? There’s also a non-alcoholic version ready to pair with its topping bar.

WHAT: HIGH FASSIONOLA, GOLD + ORANGES, THAI ONE ON, COUNT DAQ-ULA

Indulge in fruity flavors with the High Fassionola (fresh limeade, house-made fassionola syrup with passionfruit, strawberry, blueberry, pineapple, and hibiscus) or the refreshing Gold + Oranges (citrus shrub, Earl Grey demerara, sparkling apple cider). Craving Thai food? Thai One On will satisfy your taste buds (Thai spice-infused coconut milk, pineapple, lime, chili thread, roasted coconut flakes). WHAT: THE GLOW-UP, ESPRESSO FLIRTINI, THE MOCKINGBIRD, UNFASHIONED, NAKED RANCH WATER

The Glow-Up features fresh cucumber, cool mint, and lime, with a zingy ginger beer finish, while the Espresso Flirtini has spiced cane, hazelnut, and a bold espresso twist. The Mockingbird showcases bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters, the Unfashioned has smooth honey, rich bitters, and a dash of amaro, and Naked Ranch Water is crisp and clean with refreshing lime and soda.
