In late 2024, this property—formerly known as Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch—unveiled its $115 million property-wide renovation and new name. It is the first Grand Hyatt in Arizona, and the newly reimagined luxury resort includes 496 updated accommodations, including the resort’s 18 luxury Casitas, and the ultra-luxe, two-story Gainey House. There are 10 pools, a three-story waterslide, a sand beach, and the refreshed Spa Avania. The resort also introduced a partnership with celebrity chef Richard Blais, who is heading up four dining venues. And if all that isn’t enough, there’s tennis, pickleball, and the adjacent Gainey Ranch Golf Club. The resort is pet-friendly, too.

This iconic resort is nestled at the base of Camelback Mountain is filled with luxury touches, including the authentic Mother-of-Pearl tiles that were imported from Italy for $1 million and hand-laid at the bottom to create the serenity pool so that it shimmers like the inside of a seashell.
