ART, FASHION, COLLECTIBLES: Arizona’s First Major International Art Fair Kicks Off This Week
By Staff | March 19, 2025

More than 100 global galleries will exhibit stunning and though-provoking art this week at the Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week, a first-of-its-kind fine art fair set to welcome leading galleries, as well as indigenous and esteemed designers from across the nation and around the globe.
The event runs from Thurs., March 20 through Sun., March 23 in the North Hall at WestWorld of Scottsdale, and celebrates the culture, craftsmanship, and creativity of some of the world’s most renowned artists and designers, welcoming artists, gallerists, collectors, and enthusiasts for a four-day celebration of art, fashion and design.
PANEL DISCUSSIONS
In addition to browsing the galleries, there is a partnership with the directors and curators of the region’s major cultural institutions to create a robust series of panel discussions, which are open to the public. This includes the Arizona State University Art Museum, the Heard Museum, the Phoenix Art Museum, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Center of Creative Photography. There will be lively, informative discussions among artists, curators, specialists, and collectors.
FASHION SHOWS

Fashion also takes center stage, with an Indigenous Fashion Show curated by Phoenix Fashion Week in consultation with Amber Dawn Bear-Robe of Bear Robe productions. Set for 6 p.m. during the Opening Night Vernissage reception (scheduled for 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at WestWorld), the show spotlights Indigenous fashion designers, blending cultural heritage with contemporary fashion while serving as a compelling introduction to Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week. Other fashion shows include Pop Art Fashion Meets Vintage by Fashion by Robert Black (Fri., March 21); Elegance & Haute Couture Featuring Svetik’s Haute Couture (Sat., March 22); and Fur, Leather, & Statement Fashion Featuring Evan’s Furs & Leather (Sun., March 23).
“Since inception two years ago, we have sought to be different from any other American art fair with our programming, setting and now, daily fashion shows,” says Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week’s Associate Director Amy Gause.
ART & SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTIONS
Additionally, Heritage Auctions, the largest collectibles auctioneer and the third-largest auction house in the world, will showcase an impressive assortment of rare and high-value art and sports memorabilia. Among the standout offerings are an ultra-rare autographed Shohei Ohtani baseball card and two Formula 1 racing suits worn by Dutch-Belgian racing superstar Max Verstappen and British racing seven-time world champion Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

There’s also a rare opportunity to own a piece of Hollywood history in an original painting by award-winning actres Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct, Casino). The piece will be available for viewing at the front of the fair and during the event at WestWorld. It will be going up for auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Barrow Neurological Institute. Bidding will begin at $30,000.
AWARDS
During the event, two women—whose works and achievements represent the heart of what the groundbreaking art fair will accomplish—will be honored. Janis Lyon will receive the Scottsdale Art Week Lifetime Achievement Award and Melissa Cody will receive the Scottsdale Art Week Artistic Achievement Award for their combined work with the arts that spans 45 years.
Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky says, “I am thrilled that so many elements of Arizona culture will combine with those of other great world civilizations in this four-day celebration of art and ideas taking place for the very first time in Scottsdale. The community’s enthusiastic support will ensure this is a must-visit event on the U.S. cultural calendar for
decades to come.”
