Following a 10-day give-back promotion during the month of October 2024 with Arizona’s Family 3TV/CBS 5 AZ-based Super Star Car Wash was able to raise a record-breaking $55,316 to benefit the local non-profit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.
“We do this fundraiser each year and were blown away by the community support to beat the $50,000 we collectively raised last year,” said Nicole Rodriguez, VP of Marketing for Super Star Car Wash.
The funds were raised from October 17-27, 2024 at all of Super Star Car Wash’s express car wash locations within the greater Phoenix area as part of the annual Paul’s Car Wash led by AZ Family Meteorologist Paul Horton. For each special “Super Shine” express car wash purchased during the 10-day span, Super Star Car Wash donated 50% of the proceeds to the non-profit organization, in addition to offering the option for customers to make additional monetary donations.
“We’re so grateful for Super Star Car Wash for stepping up in such a big way. This isn’t just about raising funds it’s about raising hope for hundreds of kids in our community. It’s a life-changing opportunity for so many for our Littles. This isn’t just a win for BBBSAZ, it’s a win for every child who now gets a shot at a brighter future,” said Luis Vega, Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.
Super Star Car Wash has been giving back to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona since becoming a sponsor of Paul’s Car Wash in 2018, and in total have raised over $150,000 for the organization.
“We are so proud to be a part of such a generous community with caring customers who can help us make such a tangible impact for local children,” said Rodriguez.
