Want to learn more about the exhibitions on view at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA)? The new Insight Art Tours, a series of curatorial staff-led tours, can help by providing context and sparking discussions about works of art on view.
The 30-minute tours are offered May 5 and June 2 at 11 a.m. and are free with museum admission.
Insight Art Tours is only one of the many programs hosted by SMoCA this spring and summer. The Glow Up @SMoCA series —featuring sound baths, meditation and mindful movement—will continue inside Phillip K. Smith III’s Three Parallels until July.
SMoCA also welcomes the return of the Virtual Video Art Festival, a virtual showcase of video art produced by students in Experimental Video Art and Documentary Video Art at Arizona State University.
