There’s a new neighborhood wine bar set to open in Scottsdale’s McCormick Ranch neighborhood.
Named after the patron saint of wine vintners, Saint Urban wine bar in Scottsdale is a stylish, elevated wine bar set led by chef/owner Christopher Collins. The Scottsdale destination joins Collins’ lineup at the Mercado at Hayden shopping center: Collins Brothers Public House, Grassroots Kitchen & Tap, and Sweet Provisions.
Saint Urban in Scottsdale will feature a rotating selection of 30 premium wines by the glass (plus cocktails and Arizona-only craft beers), paired with a shareable menu of gourmet bar bites, charcuterie boards, sandwiches, salads, and more.
There’s a Charcuterie & Cheeseboard that will showcase lesser-known but premium West Coast producers across California, Oregon, Utah, instead of the traditional international names in cured meats and cheeses. West Coast Oysters will be served three ways—fresh shucked, broiled Rockefeller, and supreme. There’s also a shareable option called The Salt Block that has a choice of sushi-grade salmon, tuna, or hamachi served with agave-ponzu redux, and crispy garlic almond and wasabi peas. The Saint Urban wine bar menu will also feature a signature Santa Maria-style BBQ Tri Tip, which will be served as either an entree or shaved on a sandwich bun from Noble.
“Saint Urban reflects years of hard-earned knowledge serving this particular neighborhood,” Collins says. “It’s welcoming and unpretentious, perfect for both romantic dates and also casual hangs with friends. But also discerning when it comes to offering a world-class selection of wines highlighted by top Napa Valley producers.”
Most important, Collins says, “It’s designed with an approachable price point that allows you to visit several times a week, no matter if you’re saddling up to the bar for a ‘girl dinner’ of truffle shoestring potatoes, a Caesar salad and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, sharing a bottle of wine and some small plates with friends, or joining us for a full chef-crafted dinner, Saint Urban brings everyone together.”
Saint Urban wine bar in Scottsdale is open daily at 11 a.m. for lunch, plus happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., and dinner through 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. on weekends.
