Pendleton Square Trust Company, Inc., an independent trust company providing non-investment trust and estate services to advisors and high-net-worth families, expanded its presence to the Southwest with the opening of an office at 7047 E. Greenway Pkwy., Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
Pendleton Square is an advisor-friendly trust company guiding generations forward to protect and sustain family legacies by administering trusts, estates, and private foundations. It was founded in 2015 and now also has offices in Chattanooga, Tenn.; Nashville; Memphis; and Atlanta.
Three new Arizona team members will serve the Southwest market. Fourth-generation Phoenix resident Ben Jarman, managing principal, Arizona, will manage the office, while serving families and developing relationships in the market and nearby areas. Rachel Zaslow joins Pendleton Square as a senior fiduciary officer and trust officer. In this role, she partners with a family’s legal counsel in preparing and reviewing trust and estate plans, and evaluates prospective trusts for administration. She also works with families and their advisors to guide them through complex transactions and problem-solve fiduciary issues. Logan Baker serves as trust officer. Her professional responsibilities include managing relationships and supporting development efforts across Arizona and the West Coast.
“Planting roots in Arizona is a major milestone for our company and one that allows us to reach a growing community of affluent families and professionals seeking trust and estate services throughout the region,” says Pendleton Square CEO Betsy Brown. “Arizona’s business-friendly environment and demographics make it an ideal place to establish a local office, which will serve as a launchpad for serving families within the state, as well as Southern California, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.”
“Building relationships is at the heart of what we do,” says Brown, “and we have assembled an experienced local team with deep ties to this community to provide best-in-class trustee services to families and their advisors.”
