Old Town Scottsdale’s Newest Destination, Pour Decisions, is Officially Open
By Michelle Glicksman | March 23, 2023
Anyone up for a two-story patio party? Old Town Scottsdale’s newest rooftop bar and restaurant, Pour Decisions, opened yesterday at 4209 N. Craftsman Ct. Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Offering perfectly chilled drinks, top-notch eats, live entertainment, and a roof-top view of the mountains, the new location offers an elevated take on the bar and nightclub scene.
One of the only rooftop bars in Old Town, and one of the few not part of a hotel, Pour Decisions is set to be the newest go-to hangout for discerning guests to watch a game, grab a meal with friends, or simply relax with a classic cocktail done right.
“We love the welcoming and fun atmosphere Old Town brings to the Valley, and we’re excited to be a part of it,” says Pour Decisions owner Jackson Armstrong of Armstrong Hospitality Group, who also owns two dining and bar concepts in the East Valley. “You won’t hear the words ‘well-drink’ here unless you mean well-made. This will be a space for those who feel like they’ve graduated from Old Town’s nightlife scene and want a more laidback yet fun spot to grab a great drink, listen to music, and have an awesome meal with friends.”
Here guests can sip and sample an eclectic but curated lineup of wines, local beers, and classic cocktails built with fresh premium ingredients.
The dining menu offers an array of elevated bar-food classics like a unique and interactive take on a classic chopped salad, a dish layered inside a mason jar where the dressing is added and shaken tableside, made-to-order street tacos, hot-toasted sandwiches, individual artisan pizzas, and more.
For the cocktail program, lead mixologist Christian Dorrhoefer developed a creative but unpretentious menu of fresh-made drinks like the Loose Skrew, made with house peanut butter whiskey ice cream, as well as clever but simple and well-made takes on other classics like the espresso martini, and a take on the tropical tiki-favorite the painkiller.
Boasting over 10,000 square feet total of flexible indoor and outdoor space to explore, the new destination for those-in-the-know has three separate bar areas, a cocktail and event “garden,” indoor and outdoor seating, 20-plus flatscreen TVs for game days, and a 16 ft tall “jumbotron” LED TV screen with an elevated stage for popular televised events or live entertainment.
Listen to music or spend some time dancing to the music of local musicians—from country to rock bands—who will perform each week, or the live DJs who will be spinning tunes.
