Caesars Republic Scottsdale kicks off pool season Memorial Day weekend with Cleopatra’s Pool Party. The pool party action runs from noon to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday all summer long, but this weekend it will be extra festive. Popular female DJ Jen Jones will be mixing the beats all day long. Also on Sun., May 25 from noon to 6 p.m. the party is themed as the “Ultimate Memorial Weekend Celebration,” with DJ LeCocq. Each party will also feature signature cocktails and activations. The event takes place at the iconic W Scottsdale WET Deck and features photo opps, vibrant bottle presentations, and a high-energy poolside atmosphere. The Heard Museum

The Heard Museum honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country with a day of art, music, and remembrance. Start your day at the Heard’s American Indian Veterans National Memorial—the first in the nation—then explore museum exhibitions, film, and sculpture gardens before you head into Steele Auditorium to enjoy live music, engaging family activities, and Veteran artists demonstrating and sharing their artworks. As a Blue Star Museum, the museum is extending free admission to veterans and active-duty military personnel of the U.S. Armed Forces (including National Guard and Reserve) and their families, between May 24 – 26, 2025 in honor of Memorial Day weekend. Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery
Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery hosts its 25th Annual Memorial Day Celebration on Mon., May 26, 2025, at 9 a.m. More than 3,000 United States veterans rest at this cemetery. The Josh Roy Band will perform, and the program will feature remarks from Mrs. LTC Dana Allmond, Mr. Mike Granase, Mayor Chip Wilson, and Supervisor Jeff Serdy of Apache Junction. The Mounted Rangers will open the ceremony on horseback, joined by the Skyline ROTC and the Apache Junction High School Honor Guard, alongside Sir Knight Reverend Robert King Sr. A ceremonial laying of wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier will follow, presented by a broad coalition of veterans’ organizations including American Legion Post 27, VFW Posts 7968 and 9399, and dozens of community partners. As the names, branches, and sacrifices are remembered, the Legion Riders from Post 27 will continue their cherished tradition of placing American flags on the graves of every veteran resting at Mountain View. Queen Creek Olive Mill
