The highly-anticipated coastal Italian hotspot Élephante will open its doors on Dec. 4.
The Italian restaurant, located in a custom space at Scottsdale Fashion Square on the corner of Camelback Road and Marshall Way, features custom-designed furniture and artisanal details that pay homage to Scottsdale. Élephante will launch with dinner service and add lunch and weekend brunch soon after. Reservations are currently open.
“We always aim to make guests feel like they have escaped to somewhere else for a moment. To accomplish this, the space needs to feel authentic. We custom designed every aspect of the space and each piece of furniture in-house. We imported the carrera tile from Italy, and flew in artists from around the world to make the artwork, macramé and tapestries on-site,” says Nick Mathers, restaurateur and founder of Wish You Were Here Group, the hospitality and lifestyle group that created the concept.
The menus at Élephante embrace the Mediterranean, with dishes such as wood-fired Burrata pizza and Soppressata pizzas; pastas including the Tortellini Pomodoro and classic Cacio e Pepe, sustainably sourced seafood, and meat like the 10 oz. Prime Skirt Steak.
The locale’s renowned beverage program includes craft cocktails and wine—including proprietary private-label wines. A full-time sommelier roams the restaurant.
This new Scottsdale location will also feature an exclusive Bar Bambino, an intimate cocktail lounge tucked away inside the space for late-night drinks and bites. Élephante will open on Dec. 7. Expect a sophisticated atmosphere, a nightly DJ, tableside Cocktail Cart Service, and drink and food options such as a Deconstructed Bellini and Caviar Toast.
