Winfield is a neighborhood located between Scottsdale and Hayden Roads, south of Westland Road. The community is larger than many in the area and offers numerous options for family-friendly homes in various price ranges. In addition, the location includes service from excellent public schools, including Black Mountain Elementary, Sonoran Trails Middle School, and Cactus Shadows High School. While not within walking distance, the schools are less than five miles from the community.
The houses in Winfield date back to the late 1990s in some cases, while other homes are like new or brand new construction. The houses in the community range in size from just over 1,700 to more than 3,100 square feet. Two or three bedrooms are standard in smaller homes, while three to five are more typical in larger models. Likewise, two baths are the low end of the spectrum while four plus are the top end. Custom finishes and the finest fixtures are common in these well-built homes.
The price range in Winfield is somewhat extensive, ranging from the low $700,000s to over $2.5M. The location in the community, lot size, and of course, the size of the homes will all impact the price. However, it is also essential to consider the age of the houses, as some are only a few years old, and others are in their mid-twenties and could require upgrades and renovations. The association fees are paid quarterly and range from just over $1,000 a year to over $3,300 based on the section of the community where the property is located.
