Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams which opened in March in Old Town Scottsdale, is releasing five special holiday flavors.
The shop, which makes its ice cream from scratch using a unique recipe honed over more than 20 years by its founder, Jeni Britton, will offer these flavors for a limited time, in addition to its regular selections. Debuting this Thurs., Nov. 9 is Merry Berry (brambly berry buttermilk cream with amaretti cookies and raspberry coulis); Buckeye Frenzy (like a peanut butter cream candy with a chocolate shell and crispy rice treat center and inspired by the buckeye recipe of Jeni’s friend’s grandma Joyce); Rum Ball (a dairy-free rendition of a classic boozy truffle with rum-soaked dark chocolate cream with tangerine and crumbled cake); Boozy Eggnog (a rich egg custard with lots of nutmeg and whiskey from Uncle Nearest); and White Chocolate Peppermint (a swirl of pink and white peppermint with white chocolate freckles).

The popular destination is also debuting its take on the classic Italian affogato—the L’affogato. The creation features ice cream topped with two shots of a robust and smooth cold brew roasted just for Jeni’s by Slingshot Coffee Co.
The new offerings will be available in-store and online, while supplies last.
