The community of Saguaro Highlands is a larger neighborhood of luxury homes located just south of Dynamite Road. Many of the houses in the area were built in the early 2000s and offer well-established yards and a sense of community. Located less than a mile from Scottsdale Road, the homeowners have easy access to the City of Scottsdale, the 101 Pima Freeway, and many of the fantastic features in the area, including the Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical GardenMcDowell Mountain, and Taliesin West. Students living in the area attend Desert Sun Academy, Sonoran Trails Middle School, and Cactus Shadows High School.

The houses in the neighborhood range in size from just over 3,400 to more than 5,100 square feet, making them ideal for growing families or multi-generational households. Split living is one of the more common features that work well for families with older children or an older generation living in the household. Three or four bedrooms and three to five bathrooms are the standard features of the floorplans in Saguaro Highlands. Outdoor living features, including swimming pools, spas, and entertaining spaces, are also standard in the community.

The average home price is nearly $1.3M. These homes are located on standard lots with sizes ranging from half and a full acre. However, some houses on oversized or irregular lots are reaching closer to the $2M price point. The association fees in the neighborhood are very reasonable at just over $100 per month for the care of common areas in the community.
