Originally from Utah, Dr. Adams is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and specializes in adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Adams completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction/joint replacement at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ.
Dr. Adams also uses minimally invasive muscle sparing techniques with the most up-to-date technology for both hip and knee replacement surgeries to help patients quickly return to a full and active lifestyle.. This includes the Direct Anterior (DA) approach for hip replacement and the sub-vastus, quadricep tendon-sparing approach for knee replacement. Dr. Adams utilizes both the CORI and MAKO robotic technology for total knee and hip replacement surgery.
His clinics serve the Scottsdale/Phoenix metropolitan area at two conveniently located offices in Scottsdale and Mesa.
