The Pima Acres and La Strada communities offer some of the largest homes with fast and easy access to the 101 Pima Freeway while still enjoying massive lots and a feeling of living outside the city. Views of nearby mountains replace the city’s high-rise buildings, while the sounds of birds and the wind replace the traffic noise. But when it is time to visit the city or run errands, residents can quickly reach downtown, Sky Harbor Airport, ASU, or other East Valley suburbs. This area is the best of both worlds, the one you want to live in and the one you must visit for work.

The size can range from 3,500 to over 6,000 for the average house, while the largest homes in the area are over 12,000 to 15,000 square feet. When you get into the mammoth estate-like properties, the numbers jump to ten or more of each in many cases. And with the larger lots often reaching several acres, the potential for a casita or separate private living space on the property is not unusual.

The outdoor living area is a significant reason for the desirability of homes and the prices they demand. Smaller houses will come in at $1M to $1.5M.
