The neighborhood of Mirador is located in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains near McDowell Mountain Ranch Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. The location feels peaceful and remote. However, residents easily access the 101 Pima Freeway via Bell Road. That route makes commuting downtown or a trip to Sky Harbor Airport or ASU far less challenging and stressful than on surface streets. The miles of walking and hiking trails in the community provide a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains and desert plants. Many homes in Mirador back up to the natural area that is home to the Taliesin Trail.
The seventy-three houses in the community were built by T.W. Lewis starting in 1991. The eight floorplans in the community range in size from just over 2,400 to nearly 3,800 square feet. The ample lots, around a third of an acre, offer plenty of outdoor entertaining spaces, swimming pools, and spas.
Only a handful of the houses in the community do not back to the natural areas, but they do enjoy a smaller natural space behind them to increase privacy. With the incredible views and open space, the entry price in the community is about $1.25M. The average cost for a home in Mirador is closer to $1.5M, while a few turnkey houses are nearing the $2M price point.
