The Lost Canyon Neighborhood & Community | Scottsdale, Arizona

Lost Canyon is a vast neighborhood of estates in a very exclusive gated community in the foothills of the McDowell Mountain Range. Remote does not describe the peace and tranquility found in this very secluded community. Homes have acres of space between them and their neighbors for ultimate privacy. However, Pima Road is just a short drive away to offer access to shopping and dining as well as the 101 Pima Freeway, Sky Harbor Airport, and nearby suburbs. 

The houses in Lost Canyon typically date back to the late 1990s. However, there are still many lots that have yet to be sold. Lots are averaging $500K to $700K for six to nine acres of parcels. The houses in the neighborhood range in size from 6,000 to over 12,000 square feet and offer five to nine bedrooms and up to a dozen full bathrooms. The features in these estates are nothing but the best, from travertine to brushed nickel and custom cabinetry and finishes throughout. Garages are equally as expansive and can accommodate from three to five vehicles in the smaller properties and an entire fleet in the larger homes. 

As expected, the prices in this community soar as high as the nearby mountains. The entry-level properties are well into the $2Ms, while the top of the price range will reach well into the double digits and could be cresting $20M very soon. The community fees come to nearly $4,000 per year and cover the cost of the community features, including the gated and guard-staffed entrance to the neighborhood.
