5th Annual event to celebrate women on Mother’s Day Weekend
Phoenix, AZ. April 18, 2016 - Valley women and daughters ages 13-17 are invited to “turn up and shine” at a thought-provoking, joyous and empowering journey celebrating womanhood on Mother’s Day Weekend.The 5th Annual Phenomenal Woman Empowerment Network (PWEN) Conference will be held Saturday, May 7, from 11 am to 4 pm. at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library at 3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd in Scottsdale.
The theme for this year’s conference is "D.I.M.E Speak: Dynamic, Intelligent, Multi-talented, Exquisite Women of Value Transforming the Atmosphere” and will discuss how women can find their authentic voice and true value and learn to be more compassionate towards other women
Conference presenters are Sharise L. Erby, founder of PWEN, a 501c3 based in Phoenix and the author of “Whole Women Win: Unleashing the Winner from Within,” Pastor Debra Garrett and Dr. Leticia S. Wright.Event MC is Roslyn Williams, radio show host of “Life Matters.” The event will also feature an all-male panel discussing the “men’s perspective” as it relates to women.
Registration includes a special “Red Carpet” experience with photos, vendors, live entertainment, gift bags valued at $50 and a networking reception with hors d’oeuvres and dessert.
Tickets are $75 prior to April 25, $150 thereafter.Free admission for daughters, ages 13-17, of conference attendees are available on a limited basis. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Carrie J. Gray Scholarships and Awards program. The 2016 award winner will be announced at the event.Ticket link is www.pwen.org.
