Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Open in Gilbert, Free Concert Announced

Grand Opening Celebration on March 16 with Free Concert with Kelsea Ballerini

Multi-Platinum Entertainer and Arizona native Dierks Bentley alongside Riot Hospitality Group (RHG) open its newest Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row location in Gilbert. Located at Heritage District on the southeast corner of Gilbert Road and Vaughn Avenue, just south of the U.S. 60, the third establishment throughout Arizona brings live music and American gastropub cuisine with a modern twist to the booming downtown district.

“When we opened our first Whiskey Row three years ago, I never would have guessed we’d be three bars in, in three years,” says Bentley. “The Riot group and I have spent a lot of time making sure each Whiskey Row is our version of the perfect place to listen to music, watch a game or grab some great food and drinks. The vibe is really unique and special, and it's awesome to see so many people enjoying themselves at Whiskey Row.”

“We are very excited to finally open our third Whiskey Row location and be among many of the Valley’s best restaurateurs in Gilbert’s walkable entertainment hub,” states Ryan Hibbert, the CEO of RHG. “Downtown Gilbert has become this go-to destination for shopping, dining and entertainment in the Valley and we are proud to be a part of it.”

Whiskey Row officially opened its doors Tuesday, March 7. The public is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the Gilbert restaurant and bar. In partnership with Budweiser Spring Fever Pitch, the signature annual social event during MLB Spring Training in Arizona, there will be a free concert by Grammy-nominated artist Kelsea Ballerini March 16. More details are available at www.dierkswhiskeyrow.com.

The massive Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row has an inside/outside vibe with a variety of spaces to dine, drink, hang out and enjoy dancing and live music. The 8,700-square-foot restaurant features an outdoor-style patio with cornhole and ping-pong, among other backyard games, a large dance floor and stage inside, and large windows facing out to downtown. Guests will enjoy live music on the weekends along with daily happy hour specials from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. There are more than 50 beers on tap and TVs throughout the venue. Thursday nights from 8-9 p.m. will also feature free dance lessons on the massive dance floor. Whiskey Row promises to usher in a fun new era of dining, entertainment and nightlife in Downtown Gilbert, featuring regional and national acts.

This Whiskey Row was designed to reflect the Town of Gilbert’s agricultural roots while instilling contemporary finishes to provide the restaurant with the ambiance of an agriculturally inspired warehouse. The restaurant and venue are also family friendly and that is reflected in the attitude and the menu. This is Whiskey Row’s third location in three years and a location in Nashville, TN will open later in 2017.

The menu, which is 30 percent larger than the other Whiskey Row locations, boasts modern American fare made from scratch using premium and local ingredients. Noshes and entrees include everything from sliders, salads and chicken and waffles, to chops, steaks, burgers and beer can rotisserie chicken. “We’ve added some entrees,” says executive chef, Samantha Roberts, of the expanded menu. “We put some more seafood on the menu. We have fish and chips now and a couple of shrimp options – so, we do a shrimp boil and shrimp fettucine. We have more desserts, including homemade ice cream.”

“We’ve kept all the tried-and-true menu items that work really well at the other locations, and we added a little more of a Southern flare to this one,” says Roberts. Steaks, pork chops and rib-eye have also been added into the menu, offering Downtown Gilbert more of an expanded food choice.

Brunch will also feature entertainment by a three-piece band. Want something truly different during your weekend brunch? Bring the adult crew in for a 100 oz. Mimosa Tower!

“This Class-A restaurant was developed using best-in-class construction featuring reclaimed woods and steel, with an emphasis on high ceilings and natural light, giving the restaurant the feeling of an old barn or trading post,” says Hibbert. “The restaurant’s entrance and exterior windows face Gilbert Road, which really fosters connectivity to the lively, pedestrian-friendly downtown atmosphere, while also providing significant frontage for everyone that passes by.”

Since moving from Phoenix to Nashville, the GRAMMY nominee has established his own artistic trail in Country music. Instead of rehashing proven formulas, he’s doggedly reinvented his sound and subsequently developed an uncommon mix of commercial success and critical respect. Known for “traveling his own path...Country music’s most relatable star" (“Esquire”) recently released his eighth studio album BLACK, which ranks as the best-selling release of Bentley's career, after debuting at the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Top Albums Chart and Top Country Albums chart. The critically-acclaimed album has already spawned two No. One hits, the PLATINUM certified chart-topping hit “Somewhere On A Beach” and GOLD “Different For Girls” featuring Elle King. Bentley has now amassed 15 No. 1 songs, 13 GRAMMY nominations and a recent CMA Award winner for Vocal Event of the Year. "The bluegrass picker, the love songsingerandthe stadium rocker all packaged together” (Associated Press) has been a Grand Ole Opry member for over a decade and launched his 2017 WHAT THE HELL WORLD TOUR in January.
