Event Details Thu Apr. 25 at 8:30 am - 10:30 am Arizona State University’s School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning is home to transdisciplinary research and education focused on creating balances between the natural and built environments, but also on finding a balance for the people who call these environments home. Our school is excited to invite you to the launch of a new initiative, Equitable Urban Futures, with a breakfast and panel discussion on Thursday, April 25. As our cities grow, it is imperative to keep a mindful eye on balanced, resilient and representative growth. Our Equitable Urban Futures initiative is poised to apply the transdisciplinary approach of our school to critical urban issues with a focus on creating growth for everyone. We invite you to join us for a special event to launch this initiative, as we discuss urban equity with a panel of esteemed community members and global leaders who are tackling the issues in their work and research. The discussion will be moderated by Trisalyn Nelson, director of the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning. We hope you can join us.
