Highlights from the ASU XR Challenge with Mina C. Johnson-Glenberg, PhD

Event Details

1) Embodied XR – Dr. Johnson-Glenberg’s lab will present an app that uses AR to aid decision-making for vaccine allocations for those dealing with the recent Ebola Virus outbreak.

2) Maureen van Dobben - from Dr. LiKamWa’s lab will present an app called LeARn, designed to help young students understand fractions via manipulating them with tangibles and AR.

3) Dr. Coley SPACE Lab – (Shifting Perceptions, Attitudes and Cultures in Engineering Lab) will bring a VIVE VR set up and allow you to experience what it is like to navigate engineering with hidden disabilities such as neuro divergencies (i.e., Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)) and visual disabilities (i.e., colorblindness).
