DESCRIPTION:The Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show\, the largest home show in the Southwest\, returns to the air-conditioned State Farm Stadium in Glendale\, Friday\, July 17  through Sunday\, July 19. The Home Show brings the latest ideas for outdoor living and summer-ready homes\, including home cooling\, misting and shade solutions\, patio furniture\, pool remodeling\, artificial turf\, home décor + more. This family-friendly show is indoors and includes free parking. \n\n“New this Home Show is The Taste Elevated Cooking Stage where guests can enjoy food workshops and live culinary demos. We also have more than 900 exhibit booths\, DIY workshops\, seminars\, a living greenhouse\, kids’ activities\, and more – we are proud to offer something for everyone\,” said Katie Jones\, Show Director. “We are very fortunate to host our 12th annual backpack drive with the Maricopa County Office of Superintendent to collect school backpacks and supplies for valley students in need.” \n\nAttendees can help local students and get free admission to the Home Show by donating school supplies or backpacks. Donate one new backpack with tags attached and receive two free tickets or donate five school supplies to receive one free ticket. Drop off donations at the Backpack Drive tent near Gate 2. To date\, Home Show attendees have donated over 5\,000 backpacks and tens of thousands of school supplies. \n\nUnique Show Attractions (FREE with admission): \n\nNEW! Guests can enjoy interactive seminars including fresh pasta-making\, weeknight pasta sauces\, infused olive oils and balsamics\, entertaining board ideas\, plus tastings throughout the day and exciting giveaways.\n\n\nPlant Pavilion\n\nCalling ALL plant lovers\, visit the vibrant Plant Pavilion! A lush oasis filled with a diverse selection of houseplants\, cacti\, succulents\, exotic varieties\, trees\, soil\, tools\, and unique garden décor. Whether a seasoned plant pro or just starting the green journey\, this is a one-stop shop for all plant lovers.\n\n\nLiving Greenhouse\n\nExplore a beautifully curated greenhouse filled with tropical plants\, exotic reptiles\, and naturalistic bioactive habitats. Learn about bioactive terrariums and reptile care. See different reptiles and creatures up close during a hosted reptile meet-and-greet daily at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.\n\n\nHands on Gardening Workshops: Learn easy tips and techniques at these free workshops and take home the plant you practice on.\n\nPlant an herb garden and enjoy a fresh herb-inspired tastings & recipes.\nTransplant dwarf edible seedlings to grow mini vegetables indoors.\nLearn techniques to harvest & mill locally sourced mesquite pods into flour.\nDiscover the transformation of the Rose of Jericho and observe it come back to life.\nBuild a mini succulent garden using terra cotta saucers.\n\n\nMaster Gardener Seminars: The Master Gardeners are highly trained experts in everything from container gardens to vegetables to succulents.
