The Estates at Miramonte is a small community of about a dozen properties in the foothills of the
McDowell Mountain Range. The homes are typically placed very carefully within the natural high desert landscape and refrain from formal plantings other than close to the house. The visual appearance of the homes becoming a part of the natural surroundings is a tribute to all that Frank Lloyd Wright strived to achieve when designing at his home, Taliesin West, which is located nearby.
The houses in this estate-like community date back as far as the 2010s in some cases, while others have just recently been completed. The homes range from around 5,000 to over 8,000 and feature three to seven bedrooms and up to five or six full bathrooms. The exterior features include extended patios to enjoy cooking, dining, and entertaining outdoors when the weather is mild. From amazing sunrises to magnificent sunsets and stargazing, the outdoor living space can get as much use as any room inside these large houses. Three to five-vehicle attached garage parking is also common in these larger houses.
While not every lot is home to a house at this point, the ones completed have set the tone for quality design work and exceptional luxury. The median price in the community is just under $4M for the up to three-acre lots and sprawling homes. The high end of the price range has already created $5.5M and will continue to increase as this area becomes more sought after.
