The neighborhood of El Paseo is located at Hayden Road and Via Linda and is bordered by the Hayden Walk greenbelt and walking path. The pathway provides access to Mountain View Park and Community Center as well as the local elementary school. The community is also just minutes away from the 101 Pima Freeway to allow for less stressful commuting to the East Valley suburbs, downtown, Sky Harbor Airport, and ASU. From the 101, many entertainment options are also just a short drive away, including Kierland Commons, Talking Stick Resort,  Taliesin West, and the Desert Botanical Garden.

The homes in El Paseo were built in the early 1980s and are considered patio homes. The size of these houses ranges from 1,800 to over 2,200 square feet. Two or three bedrooms are the most popular floorplan. However, in a recent renovation, some could have converted the third bedroom into a home office space, gym, or theater room. Two full baths are the norm, with some houses adding a half bath at some point.

The community fees in El Paseo are $110 per month to fund the care of the common areas on the property and exterior services. The average home price is about $750K, while only a few are in the lower $600s and in the $1M price point to balance the spectrum. The lots are a comfortable size and do afford the space for a swimming pool, spa, or outdoor living space in addition to the community green spaces.
