About Phoenix Zoo
The Phoenix Zoo is one of America's most successful, privately-owned, nonprofit zoological parks. Though still comparatively young, The Phoenix Zoo has already gained an international reputation for its efforts on behalf of wildlife. The zoo participates in numerous local and international efforts on behalf of endangered species, including the Mexican wolf, thick-billed parrot, black-footed ferret, Bornean orangutan, Sumatran tiger, Asian elephant, and many more. The Phoenix Zoo is open every day, rain or shine, excluding December 25.

Let the Phoenix Zoo make your perfect day one that will last a lifetime! Nestled on 125 acres between the Papago Buttes, The Phoenix Zoo is surrounded by lush flora and dramatic desert and water views. The Stone House Pavilion and several designated outdoor sites are fun and unique for weddings and receptions. The Phoenix Zoo is centrally located to Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale.
