The location of the private studio gym is particularly convenient for those who live in Troon, Pinnacle Peak, Carefree, Legend Trail, Grayhawk, Bellasera, Rio Verde and North Scottsdale. The area where Core Fitness really shines is with small group classes.
Owner and trainer at Core Fitness, Cory Schidler. Schidler has been a fixture on the Scottsdale fitness scene since 2001 and has had his current studio location since 2013. He is a certified EMT, holds a BS in education with a major in exercise science, is a certified personal trainer and also an Army veteran who is currently a med tech in the Air Force Reserves. His well-rounded training serves his fitness clients at every level.
Core Fitness classes are available by appointment and focus on strength, cardio, flexibility and balance. Small group classes give Schidler the chance to really work with each client and get to them and develop routines and workouts that suit them individually. No two people are exactly the same and no two fitness plans should be exactly the same, either. An initial complimentary workout session is extended to anyone who wants to come and check out the Core Fitness difference.
Most small group classes include two to six people for a one hour session. Certified trainer Alex Day works side-by-side at Core Fitness with Schidler to provide a fun and engaging workout that makes time pass quickly.
With more than 20 years of personal training under his belt, Schidler has perfected his own training technique to be supportive, positive and motivational.
For those who love to golf, Schidler provides golf-centric fitness training and is certified through the Titleist Performance Institute. “Right now it is one-on-one training and small group training,” Schidler says. This type of training is designed for anyone who wants better results out of their golf game, plus a better level of fitness and focus.
Once a client signs up at Core Fitness they are welcome to work out in small group classes, unlimited times throughout the week. From high school student athletes to weekend warriors and those that want to get into better shape, Core Fitness has a program for you.
