Taco Tuesday never tasted so good.
Modern Mexican restaurant Tocaya, located at Scottsdale Fashion Square, just added a new taco lineup—including vegan options. Five new creations are available, most of which now feature organic blue corn tortillas. Oh, and to wash them down, the locale has streamlined its margarita offerings to just one size—large.
The new tacos include:
- Tinga Taco, with smashed pinto beans, pickled onions, salsa frita, and cotija.
- Carne Asada Taco, with avocado, tomatillo salsa and honey-arbol heat.
- Mesquite Chicken Taco, with cherry tomato slaw and queso fresco.
- La Flor Taco (vegan), with fried squash blossom, vegan mozzarella, and chipotle crema.
- Taco Dorado (vegan), with crispy shell, vegan picadillo, avocado, and pico.
There are also two new protein options: Vegan Picadillo and Mesquite-Style Chicken.
Tocaya offers chef-driven salads, tacos, bowls, and burritos in a sophisticated yet accessible fast-casual setting, made using sustainable and natural ingredients.
