The Scottsdale Wine Trail Expands With the Addition of Four New Wineries
By Staff | October 19, 2024
Four Arizona wineries joined the Scottsdale Wine Trail, debuting new satellite tasting rooms as part of the Old Town Scottsdale wine bar The Wine Collective of Scottsdale. These addition of these tasting rooms—1764 Vineyards, Omphalos Winery, Soaring Wines, and Vino Stache Winery—takes the Scottsdale Wine Trail, a group of participating tasting rooms, from six to 10 Arizona-made winery locations all within walking distance of each other within the Old Town Scottsdale area. In addition to a map to direct participants to the locations, there’s also a Wine Trail Passport book, available for $5, which provides $2-off wine tasting discounts at participating locations.
The Wine Collective of Scottsdale owner Zoya Vora-Shah offered the space at her destination as a partnership in an effort to help bolster the Arizona wine industry and support local wineries who don’t currently have tasting rooms within the Greater Phoenix area. The new wineries now offer wine tastings and glass/bottle purchases alongside The Wine Collective Scottsdale’s current menu.
“We opened our doors with a mission to support Arizona wine and are so proud to be partnering with four amazing local wineries who don’t currently have a home within the greater Phoenix market,” says Vora-Shah.
The partnership provides the opportunity for guests to enjoy four new wine flights—one from each of the participating wineries—in addition to the Collective’s full menu of wines from across Arizona and around the globe.
“Having the Wine Collective as a satellite tasting room and now being a part of the Scottsdale Wine Trail is going to be a huge asset in not only helping boost in-person sales for our winery, but also allowing us to educate so many more people on the amazing things the Arizona Wine industry has to offer,” says Brooke Lowry Ide, owner and winemaker of Vino Stache.
