The Original Taste is Back for its 50th Year: Food, Drinks, and a Concert

On Sat., April 22, The Original Taste Food and Wine event will celebrate its 50th year with a food and drink extravaganza held at Scottsdale Civic Center (3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85251). There will also be a live concert by country music star Jimmie Allen.
Held at Scottsdale Civic Center , the evening will include samples from more than 20 participating restaurants who will be showcasing their finest culinary creations, as well as offering complimentary cocktails to attendees. There will also be local and international wineries represented, offering pours for attendees.
The annual charity event was created in 1973 and is hosted by the Executive Council 70 and Executive Council Charities. Since its inception, millions of dollars have been raised through the event for various children’s charities throughout the state, including educational initiatives, healthcare programs, and support services for children in need. This year, proceeds from the event will continue to impact the lives of thousands of children, providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
