One of Scottsdale’s most buzzed-about brunch spots is celebrating a milestone. SugarJam The Southern Kitchen marks five years of serving soulful Southern cuisine, fresh-baked goods, and craft cocktails with a four-day anniversary celebration from Thursday, Jan. 29 through Sunday, Feb. 1.

Founded by Arizona resident Dana Dumas, SugarJam opened its doors on Jan. 29, 2021, and quickly became a local favorite, regularly booking more than 200 reservations a day. SugarJam reflects Dumas’ vision as both CEO and head chef—delivering bold, modern takes on classic Southern comfort food.

Signature dishes like the French Toast N’ Fried Chicken and Creole Shrimp N’ Grits have earned a devoted following, while the restaurant’s high-energy atmosphere and polished hospitality keep guests coming back.

Located in the Scottsdale Airpark, SugarJam is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and serves breakfast, lunch, and a full menu of house-made cocktails. Over the past five years, it has become a go-to destination for locals, weekend brunchers, and out-of-town visitors alike.

To celebrate the anniversary, SugarJam is offering a limited-edition cocktail called The Golden 5 through Feb. 1. It features ginger liqueur, lemon juice, orgeat, and passion fruit purée, finished with an Empress Gin indigo floater, and is served on the rocks ($17).
