Scottsdale Quarter to Kick Off The Holiday Season With This Weekend’s The Santa Social
By Staff | November 22, 2023
Scottsdale Quarter will usher in the holiday season this Sat., Nov. 25, with its free popular holiday kick-off event, The Santa Social. Held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in The Quad, the popular event—now in its 11th year—will feature festive, family-friendly activities, including photos with the jolly man in red, live entertainment, a tree lighting ceremony, interactive games and activities, caricature artists, and puppy adoptions from the Arizona Animal Welfare League, and a movie under the stars.
The interactive Santa experience will not only include photos with Santa (costs apply) in front of a classic truck but there will be holiday selfie stations and a rustic cabin.
The celebration will culminate with the ceremonial lighting of the center’s 35 foot Christmas tree at 6 p.m. Directly after there will be a showing of the holiday favorite Home Alone. Families are invited to lay out blankets, grab a snack from one of Scottsdale Quarter’s eateries, and settle in for the movie.
