Scottsdale Quarter Announces Its Holiday Festivities: Pet Events, Movies, Entertainment

Local destinations are gearing up for holiday season—and Scottsdale Quarter is no exception. The popular locale announced its holiday events, which range from tree lightings and pet-friendly festivities to toy drives, live music, and holiday movies. Here’s what to expect for the season.
Black Friday Weekend Entertainment – Nov. 29-Dec. 1
Kick offf the holiday season with festive music and character appearances all weekend long.
- Friday, Nov. 29 (11 a.m.-3 p.m.)
Dicken’s carolers
Holiday character appearances - Saturday, Nov. 30 (2-8 p.m.)
Santa Social, tree lighting, and Elf screening - Sunday, Dec. 1 (11 a.m.-3 p.m.)

Santa Social – Nov. 30, from 2-8 p.m.
This family-friendly event features live DJ music, caricature artists, face painting, puppy adoptions with Arizona Animal Welfare League, and special appearances from holiday characters (2-5:45 p.m.). The evening culminates with the annual tree lighting ceremony (5:45 p.m.) and a screening of the holiday classic Elf presented under the stars (6-8 p.m.).
Paws & Claus – Mon., Dec. 2, from 5-7 p.m.
Bring your furry friends for a dose of holiday cuteness at Paws & Claus. The festive gathering includes a photo with Santa and treats for your pets. Reservations are ot required.
Shop With Your Pet – Sat., Dec. 7, from noon-3 p.m.
Enjoy shopping at pet-friendly retailers and enjoy some doggone fun. Get a complimentary photo with the meanest and greenest grouch in Santa City. Dress pups to impress for the ugly sweater contest. For those without a furry friend, Scottsdale Quarter’s adoption partner will be out with loveable pups who are looking for a new home.
Fill Santa’s Sleigh Community Concert & Toy Drive – Sat., Dec. 7, from 5-7 p.m.
Fill Santa’s Sleigh Toy Drive is a festive evening of giving back. This event partners Scottsdale Quarter with The Foster Alliance and McDowell Mountain Music Festival and is largest toy drive in the Valley. Bring a toy to donate and enjoy live music, holiday treats, and photos with Santa.
Visits with Santa – Through Tues., Dec. 24, times vary
