Scottsdale Gallery Association Celebrating 50 Years With a Big (FREE) Celebration
By Staff | March 31, 2025

This week, Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) is celebrating a major milestone—50 years of supporting, promoting, and advocating for the art community in Old Town Scottsdale through its popular weekly ArtWalk series.
In honor of the occasion, the SGA and its member galleries are holding “Artstravaganza,” a celebration on Thurs., April 3 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. It’s a one-of-a-kind celebratory Gold Palette Artwalk and will take place throughout the Scottsdale Arts District, which stretches along Main St. from Scottsdale Road to Goldwater Boulevard and north of Indian School Road on Marshall Way to 5th Avenue, and within participating Scottsdale Gallery Association member galleries.
The free celebration will include a city proclamation at the Casa de Artistas Plaza at 6:45 p.m., as well as live music and memories from the past 50 years of this event—which is the longest running ArtWalk in the country.
Participating SGA members will also be hosting their own events within their galleries to keep the celebration going throughout the Scottsdale Arts District.
