Want to bring home a stunningly decorated tree or wreath this holiday season? You might find it at Scottsdale Fashion Square, where the Trees for Hope charity art exhibit was recently unveiled. You can bid on the items to take home, decking your own halls while benefitting the Hope Fund at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Trees of Hope showcases 16 trees and five wreathes, all designed by accomplished local retailers, artists, florists, and interior decorators using pre-lit, artificial 7.5-foot trees and wreaths as the canvas. Each tree is a display of its own with 360 degrees of thoughtfully curated decor, including toppers, ornaments, skirting, ribbons, garland, fabrics, and fillers, as well as home decor items and gift boxes to create a complete holiday vignette. The wreaths lend a comparable level of seasonal style suitable for smaller spaces.
The works are on display throughout the West and South Luxury Wings until Wed., Dec. 4. Then, during an exclusive Jingle & Mingle celebration, judges will announce and present prizes with a celebratory toast to the winning designers.
Entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges in two classes (trees and wreaths) across several categories, including Best in Show, Most Creative and Best Theme. People’s Choice awards will also be presented. Winning bidders will be contacted to make delivery arrangements between Thurs., Dec. 5, and Tues., Dec. 10.
“Each holiday season, shoppers across the region count on Scottsdale Fashion Square as a premiere destination where they can find the perfect gifts for everyone on their list, as well as stylish accessories for home décor and entertaining,” says Melanie Sutton, senior marketing manager at Scottsdale Fashion Square. “This year we’re elevating the holiday experience with a stunning collection that not only offers plenty of festive inspiration, but also invites shoppers to join us in the spirit of giving as we support Phoenix Children’s.”
Trees for Hope is part of the Haute Holiday Collective, a series of festive events planned for the shopping center this holiday season. Other events include a new Signature Santa Experience, as well as returning favorites such as the Holiday Meet and Greets with beloved characters, the Angel Tree program in partnership with Salvation Army, and an array of seasonal life music performances.
