Lumifi Cyber, Inc. (Lumifi), a next-generation leader in the cybersecurity space, was named a winner of the Global InfoSec Awards 2024 as the Most Innovative Company in Managed Detection and Response (MDR). Organized by Cyber Defense Magazine, this awards program recognizes cybersecurity companies that manage, create, and provide the most respected information security products and services.
Lumifi was recognized for its exceptional contributions to innovation in the cybersecurity market, specifically in the MDR space. The proprietary SHIELDVision™ technology, leveraging Lumifi’s dynamic team of experts, hailing from esteemed institutions such as the U.S. military, Department of Defense (DoD), and Fortune 500 companies, with cutting-edge technology based on the Gartner Visibility Triad, was highlighted as a key factor for this award.
“We were selected for this award from a competitive pool of other changemakers in the industry creating innovative solutions to solve tomorrow’s problems, making this recognition even more significant,” says Michael Malone, CEO and founder at Lumifi. “Standing alongside such fierce competition only validates our technology to deliver best-in-class solutions for our clients.”
In Cyber Defense Magazine’s 12th year of honoring innovators worldwide, this year’s awards received nominations from more than 3,500 companies. The companies recognized for these prestigious awards are the most proactive, innovative, and forward-thinking service providers globally.
Lumifi’s strategic acquisitions of other cybersecurity companies, most recently Netsurion and Castra, have significantly heightened Lumifi’s MDR capabilities and boosted its client base. These acquisitions are part of Lumifi’s overarching strategy to disrupt the MDR space by consolidating point solutions and enhancing its SHIELDVision platform.
