Renowned Art Editor Signs On As Consultant For Scottsdale’s First International Art Fair
By Michelle Glicksman | June 4, 2024

Distinguished art editor, renowned artist, and culture connoisseur Joshua Rose will be a consultant to Scottsdale’s newest international signature event, Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week, which will be held March 20-23 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
The event will showcase 120 leading galleries alongside cultural performances, sculptural installations, and innovative programming including collaborations with institutions, galleries, artists, and prominent collectors. Fashion shows, pop-up displays, cars, off-site events and more will also be part of the experience.
Rose, who currently lives in the arts hub of Sante Fe, New Mexico, but grew up in Tempe, spent much of his career with International Artist Publishing, serving as the editor for American Art Collector, Western Art Collector, American Fine Art, and Native American Art magazines. He later took on the role of senior vice president at the Santa Fe Art Auction, which is owned by legendary art dealer Gerald Peters, as a fine art specialist. Today owns Rose Creative, a marketing, publicity, and creative agency that places focus on the art market across the Southwest.
Rose has also lectured and facilitated panel discussions at well-known art fairs such as the Hamptons Art Fair, The San Francisco Fine Art Fair, the LA Art Show, and The Boston International Fine Art Show; presented at museums across the country; and worked with numerous art organizations.
“I am thrilled and honored to join this distinguished team and we embark on this three-day massive arts fair, which will bring art galleries around the country, auction houses, internationally renowned artists, collectors and a fantastic network of museums and cultural institutions to Scottsdale in late March next year,” Rose says.
Tickets for Scottsdale Art Week will go on sale to the public in September 2024, with additional partnerships and programs announced leading up to the fair.
