Polestar’s Electric Roadster Concept Revealed at Live Event at Scottsdale Fashion Square
By Michelle Glicksman | April 3, 2023
Polestar has a new electric roadster, and this latest concept was revealed at a special event at Scottsdale Fashion Square, where Polestar Scottsdale has a location.
The Polestar electric roadster will be built on Polestar’s forthcoming bespoke bonded aluminum platform. Developed in-house, it will feature the high-performance, 800-Volt electric architecture with a high output dual motor powertrain when going into production around 2026 as the Polestar 6.
Jason Church, COO of Courtesy Automotive Group, owners of Polestar Scottsdale is excited about the Polestar journey and evolution of the P6 electric roadster.
“I was in Beverly Hills last year when they announced the 02 electric roadster concept. All of a sudden, we went from concept to we’re producing the 02 as the P6 LA Concept edition and Polestar accepted 500 orders in the space of about 20 days. It’s exciting to see the energy behind the brand!” he says.
The next exciting Polestar production car coming online later this year is the Polestar 3, a larger SUV. It will be produced in North America, and is spacious on the inside and very true to Polestar in terms of dynamics, performance, and power.
The Polestar 2 all-electric fastback is currently available for immediate delivery.
