Over Easy Restaurant Pledges $500,000 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital

Locally owned popular breakfast restaurant Over Easy wants to give back and impact the community that supports it by making a difference in the lives of children.

To do so, those behind the restaurant, which has 17 Arizona locations, recently pledged $500,000 to Phoenix Children’s Foundation. The four-year gift directly benefits Phoenix Children’s Child Life and Therapeutic Arts Programs, which helps patients and their families develop ways to cope with fear, anxiety and separation from home and school.

Phoenix Children’s celebrated the partnership from popular local eatery Over Easy by officially naming the “Makers Corner” inside The Zone.

The Child Life Zone is a state-of-the-art therapeutic space where kids can be kids. Located on the first floor of the hospital’s East Building, this procedure-free area offers patients and families the chance to play, create, and connect in a fun and comfortable environment. Often referred to as “the happiest place” for children at the Thomas Campus, The Zone fosters healing through creativity and connection.

“It was a special moment to see Over Easy in such an incredible space that supports the healing of so many young patients,” says Brian Terpay, chief operating officer of Over Easy. “We are honored to give back and play a role in Phoenix Children’s mission.”

Over Easy, which was founded in 2008, offers a menu of breakfast and brunch made-from-scratch dishes. It has been featured on the Food Network, in Bon Appétit Magazine, as well as recognized as one of America’s best breakfast and brunch restaurants by Travel + Leisure.
