While we have some phenomenal local nurseries in and around Scottsdale, for plant lovers with a keen eye, it’s time to mark the calendar for Boyce Thompson Arboretum’s famous Fall Plant Sale, which kicks off on Friday, October 11 (Thursday, October 10th for members) and runs through Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Arboretum is the state’s oldest and largest botanical garden that is less than an hour east of the city and this annual event will feature an array of plants from around the world, including native plants and plants native to the Southwestern states and northern Mexico.
