It’s almost Pi Day (March 14), and North Italia is celebrating as it always does—by rolling out its annual nationwide Pi Day campaign.
Back for its fifth year, the event celebrates the modern Italian concept’s special limited-time, hand-tossed pizzas for an entire month, from March 14 through April 11.
To create 11 market-specific pizzas and one pizza available nationwide for their more than 40 locations nationwide, North Italia tapped expert chefs in each region to develop a pizza marrying the flavors and ingredients of their local communities with the concept’s roots in honoring classic Italian cuisine. For all of Arizona locations, Peoria’s Executive Chef Adrian Gamez created the Carbonara pizza. Inspired by Carbonara pasta and its alleged birthplace of the Lazio region of Italy, the star of this pizza is guanciale—an ingredient that dates back to ancient roman times—in addition to fingerling potatoes, aleppo peppers, pecorino, and fontina.
The nationally available Lasagna Verde is inspired by Bologna’s classic lasagna Bolognese.
Each pizza is $22 and will replace the “Chef’s Daily” pizza on-menu at their respective locations. The offerings are eligible for dine-in, takeout, or delivery via DoorDash.
