A new upscale condo and retail development, The Goldwater, is being developed in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, at the southeast corner of Goldwater Boulevard and 70th Street. The project was announced by Adlanto and Plaza Companies.
The Goldwater Residences will offer 40 two- and three-bedroom condo units, an outdoor pool, a terrace, a fitness center, and a covered pet park. Early interest in the project has resulted in nearly one-fourth of the residences already being reserved.
The ground floor of the project will include approximately 7,500 square feet of commercial space, which will be used to serve both residents and visitors.
According to a press release, the project is being designed to “create a sense of place and community through with connectivity between the project and surrounding neighborhood placing a focus on design and featuring local artists.”
“We are very excited to begin sales on this exceptional new property,” says Alvaro Moreno, USA manager with Adlanto North America. “Scottsdale is one of the most attractive markets for residential real estate in the United States and provides an opportunity to create a project that will be extremely attractive to those interested in luxury living, and avant-garde architecture in the heart of it all.”
Adlanto, which is headquartered in Spain, is the project’s developer. The Goldwater Residences marks the company’s first residential project in the United States after developments across North America, South America, and Europe. Plaza Companies, which has been involved with local projects including SkySong, The ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, and Park Central—among others—is serving as the advisor, and design and construction manager and the architect is Lightvox Studio. The general contractor is Ameris Construction.
“We look forward to starting sales and construction on The Goldwater Residences and creating the next great luxury living opportunity for Scottsdale,” says Sharon Harper, chairman and CEO of Plaza Companies. “Our knowledge of the market and experience with a broad spectrum of development projects in Arizona will be a key asset as we bring The Goldwater Residences to life.”
