Lerner & Rowe Gives Back, the nonprofit arm of Lerner & Rowe Injury Attorneys, is marking its 10th anniversary with the launch of a new grant program on Monday, January 30. The launch is in conjunction with Lerner & Rowe’s efforts to impact the communities they work with. With the new grant program, Lerner & Rowe hopes to achieve a total of $1 million in charitable giving and grants to Arizona nonprofits in 2023.

“We wanted to make some changes to better serve our community and knew that our 10th anniversary was the best time to make these changes,” said Kevin Rowe, founder of Lerner & Rowe Injury Attorneys and Lerner & Rowe Gives Back. “As a team, we discuss the causes near and dear to us and strategize how we can help these organizations through donations, grants and volunteer work. I’m completely in awe of what this team has achieved in the past ten years. We really are making a difference, and that’s all Lerner & Rowe Gives Back has ever been about.”

In addition to the new grant program, the organization recently hired Jordan Moreno, its Director of Charitable Giving, to help formalize the organization’s giving strategy and increase the reach of the nonprofit arm’s impact.

The grant program will allow qualified Arizona 501(c)3s to receive $5,000 to $50,000, if awarded. Adding grants to the Lerner & Rowe Gives Back website allows the team to give back to the community more extensively by donating money to the communities in which they serve. Arizona 501(c)3s can apply via the form on the Lerner & Rowe Gives Back website. Applicants must be a registered Arizona 501(c)3 nonprofit in good standing with the IRS and fall into one of the areas of focus — Public Safety, Health & Human Services, Youth Programs and Animal Welfare. These focus areas will help Lerner & Rowe Gives Back achieve its goal of being more strategic with its community partners.

In 2010, Kevin Rowe created the Rowe Family Foundation to help teach his oldest daughter the values of humility and helping others in need. With the desire to do more in Arizona, Kevin decided to form the DBA Lerner & Rowe Gives Back in 2012 and has been giving back to the communities in which they practice ever since, including Phoenix, Tucson, Bullhead City, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Chicago, Merrillville, IN and Nashville.
