It’s time to shop and eat for a cause!
Each year, The Board of Visitors’ Care Card serves as an unofficial kickoff to the holiday season at Scottsdale Fashion Square. For 10 days, those who purchase a Care Card for $60 receive 20% off merchandise and menu items at a variety of retailers and restaurants at both the mall and across the Valley. Scottsdale Fashion Square retailers participating in the event include 7 For All Mankind, AG Jeans, Beach Bunny, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Johnny Was, Jo Malone London Boutique, Kate Spade New York, lululemon athletica, Madewell, Oliver Smith Jeweler, Pita Jungle, St. John Boutique, Tommy John, TravisMathew, Tumi, Untuckit, Vuori, and Zimmerman.
Cards for the fundraising event—which has been serving the Valley for 25 years—can be purchased and used at any time throughout the 10-day timeframe. Proceeds from its sales support local charities that serve the healthcare needs of women, children, and the elderly in the greater Phoenix area.
This year, the fundraising campaign kicks off from 9 a.m.-noon on Thurs., Oct. 17, with an event at Scottsdale Fashion Square’s Office Plaza, across from Shake Shack and Moxies, that features Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center’s The BIG Pink Bus. Those who have purchased the cards can tour the bus, which brings lifesaving, mobile 3D mammography to women across the Valley. Proceeds from 2024 Care Card purchases support the new mobile mammography unit and Banner Health Foundation.
Daily drawings will also be held during the 10 days and everyone who purchases a card will be automatically entered. Winners will be announced each day on Care Card AZ social media accounts.
There is also a series of special Sip and Shop events scheduled.
