Ready to drop off toys or another donation to help make a child’s holiday this season? Here are the local spots collecting donations.

 

Mesquite Fresh Street Mex

Donate through: Dec. 18

Mesquite Fresh Street Mex, a modern Mexican grab-and-go brand, teamed up with The Foster Alliance as part of its fifth annual Toys for Tacos charitable holiday drive for Arizona’s foster youth. Dine-in guests who visit any of Mesquite’s 10 Valley locations and donate a new, unwrapped toy will receive one free taco of choice. Preferred gifts include baby books, stacking toys, push/pull toys, Play-Doh sets, remote control toys, skateboards and scooters, video games, sports balls, earbuds and speakers, and self-care and beauty items. JW Auto Care

For the fourth year in a row, JW Auto Care is collecting toys for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy through Dec. 12.

The Vault of Scottsdale

Donate through: Dec. 13

The Vault of Scottsdale is holding its 4th annual Toy Drive on Dec. 13 from 8-10 a.m. Bring wrapped toys and your family to help celebrate the season of giving and enjoy some fantastic cars. Toys are also accepted up until that day between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

25th Annual Operation Santa Claus

Donate through: Dec. 17

Donate toys, non-perishable food items, child-size clothing, or cash and not only do good, but receive entries for donations, which are eligible for a drawing for a 2025 Ford F-150 STX Super Crew Truck or a 2025 Lincoln Corsair luxury SUV. The donations, accepted by Dec. 17, benefit a variety of Valley charities, St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, Special Olympics Arizona, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), Military Assistance Mission (MAM), and New Life Center. Donations are accepted at select Sanderson Ford, Sanderson Lincoln, and U-Haul locations, as well as ABC KNXV-TV and online.

Participate in the 40th Anniversary Christmas Angel by stopping by the Angel Trees in Scottsdale Fashion Square near Sephora, on Level 1, East Wing, to choose your tags and make Christmas magical for all Arizona children.

Scottsdale Fire Department

Donate through: Dec. 22

Scottsdale Fire is collecting unwrapped toys and gift cards through Dec. 22 at all fire stations and headquarters to support families in need. Each year, the effort gathers around 10,000 toys, helping more than 1,000 families. Donations are distributed to organizations such as Vista Del Camino, HonorHealth, Family Promise, The Foster Alliance, and Harvest Compassion Center. Donors are especially encouraged to give items or gift cards suitable for children ages 7–12 and 13–18, which are often harder to shop for. Brody’s Italian

Through Dec. 15

Brody’s Italian is partnering with the Sojourner Center this holiday season to support its annual Gifting Hope Holiday Program, which gives survivors the opportunity to select gifts for their families in a safe and supportive environment. Donate new, unwrapped items, including toys for children and teens, clothing for all ages, and household essentials. You’ll receive a 10% discount on their meal in return as a thank you. Items depicting alcohol, guns, or violence, including Nerf and water guns cannot be accepted.
