Human Powered Health, a new state-of-the-art human performance lab, will open shortly in Scottsdale. The locale offers physiological assessments to active individuals and athletes at all levels who want to improve their health and performance goals.
Human Powered Health performance labs uses advanced sports science tools and wide-ranging analytics to measure an individual’s unique physiology, followed by prioritized recommendations that can help them make choices about improving their health and empower them to achieve their personal performance goals. Typically, this level of transformative assessment data was only available to elite athletes and in exclusive academic labs.
Services include gait analysis, resting metabolic rate, force plate analysis, DXA scans, lactate threshold, grip strength, sweat analysis, and more.
“The Scottsdale community represents a highly anticipated expansion for us, and we are thrilled to offer our unparalleled services to a wide range of athletes and active individuals alike,” says Dan Cohen, Human Powered Health’s chief performance officer. “Runners preparing for a big race, Olympic athletes getting ready for competition, a high school soccer team using data to improve their training and help them prevent injuries, and individuals who want to safely remain active as they age all benefit from our sophisticated analytics and, more importantly, the actionable recommendations that we provide.”
The Scottsdale Human Powered Health performance lab is the fourth of its kind. The inaugural lab in Minneapolis opened in 2023, and two more labs opened last year in Boston and Wellesley, Mass.
The lab has already begun taking appointments, with assessments. Virtual consults can be scheduled at humanpoweredhealth.com.
