Each Friday we spotlight one local resident. This month meet …
NAME: Anita Verma-Lallian
COMPANIES: Camelback Productions and Arizona Land Consulting
What does Camelback Productions do?
In addition to producing great content, Camelback Productions is synonymous with perseverance and mental strength, a symbol for the South Asian community to push toward their goals and desires.
What sets it apart?
Camelback Productions is Arizona’s first female- and South Asian-owned film production and entertainment company.
Why did you launch a production company?
I wanted to create a space and opportunity for more South Asians to be represented, especially with the major push to see minority groups represented in the media over the past few years.
Any upcoming projects we can know about?
We’ll be teasing something big in the coming months with a really notable actress and team!
When you aren’t working, we’d find you …
Hiking Camelback Mountain.
Accomplishment you’re most proud of?
Launching a woman-owned, real estate and land development company, Arizona Land Consulting, in a male-dominated industry, and having a hand in the growth of the West Valley. Since the founding of Arizona Land Consulting, my team and I have managed and acquired half a billion dollars worth of land assets in the Phoenix area – some of the highest land deals in the state.
