May is National Burger Month, and neighborhood burger joint Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is celebrating by giving back.
Through May 31, patrons can participate in its Dine & Donate program, where $1 of each weekly special chef-crafted burger purchase and $1 of every 22 oz. Michelob Ultra draft purchase goes to the Ivy Brain Tumor Center at Barrow Neurological Institute, the leader in brain tumor research and the rapid treatment of brain cancers.
This is the third year the restaurant has offered the program, which is valid at all Valley locations except for Chase Field.
The weekly burgers, specially created by Executive Chef Robert Wagner, are:
- Arizona Burger (May 1 – 11). Pepper Jack cheese, tomatillo salsa, pico de Gallo, and green chile
- Century Burger (May 12 – 18). Wagyu beef patty, brown sugar mustard made with Old Forester Bourbon, cheddar cheese, chef’s mayo, lettuce, grilled tomato, bacon, and grilled onion
- Jack Burger (May 19 – 25). Pickles, fried onions, Swiss, pulled pork, and BBQ sauce made with Jack Daniel’s
- Jalapeno Burger (May 26 – 31). Pepper Jack cheese, jalapeno bacon, jalapeno chips, cream cheese jalapeno poppers, and chipotle aioli.
