If you’re dreaming of a winter vacay this year, whether skiing or relaxing on a beach, American Airlines has you covered. The airline just announced three new destinations from Phoenix Sky Harbor: Sun Valley, Idaho (SUN), a popular destination for winter sports; Central Coast city Santa Maria, California (SMX); and Fort Myers, Florida (RSW), which is known for its beaches, coastal islands, and fresh seafood.
Service to Santa Maria begins Oct. 15, 2025 and will run twice daily year-round.
Service to Fort Mers runs daily from Nov. 20, 2025 to Dec. 3, 2025 and again from Dec. 18, 2025 to Jan. 6, 2026.
Service to Sun Valley begins Dec. 18, 2025 and runs daily though April 6, 2026.
